What is the Community First Program?

The Community First program was created to give back to those who serve and protect their communities. This program allows us to show appreciation to an amazing group of individuals. Not only does the Community First program provide discounted mortgage services to eligible individuals, but it allows the Poli Cares Trust to make a yearly charitable donation from qualified loans.

Who is Eligible for this Program?

Anyone who works in the sectors below may qualify for exclusive discounts on our mortgage loan products. Please contact us to see if you qualify.

How You Benefit

Through this program, 75% of discount credits go to the home borrower and 25% of the discount credit goes to a charity donation on your behalf.

How Does it Work?

By enrolling in Community First, you’ll not only receive a credit to apply toward your mortgage, but a portion of the savings go toward a charitable donation on your behalf through the Poli Cares Foundation. Our program is partnered with local realtors and lawyers to provide transaction discounts through reduced fees and closing cost credits to eligible homebuyers.

Example: Based on a $400,000 Purchase Price

Participating Buyer's Realtor $2,000

Participating Closing Agent $250

Total Contribution $2,550

Total Borrower Credit $1,912.50

Donation $637.50

Assumptions: Sales price of $400,000 with a 2.5% buyers realtor commission. Actual credits may vary based on purchase price. Participating agents and closing attorneys must be approved by Poli Cares Foundation.

Borrower Eligibility Requirements

Loan is subject to standard underwriting guidelines and procedures. Example of documentation that will be needed includes (but is not limited to): W-2s, Paystubs, Asset Statements, Checking and Savings, or retirement statement.

Eligible Mortgage Purpose

Purchase first mortgages only.

Eligible Mortgage Property Type

Single Family, 2-4 units and condominiums that are primary or second homes. Investment properties not eligible.
